Guernsey is the name of an island located in the English Channel. Its territory is subject to the British Crown, but is not part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain. Guernsey belongs to the Channel Islands system and is also a member of the EU. The population of the island is about 65.5 thousand people. The area is only 63 sq. km, while the island is the second largest after Jersey. The official languages in Guernsey are English and French, but here you can hear completely different speech. After all, Guernsey is a famous international financial center.
