Registration of private entrepreneurs in Panama takes place the same way as the registration of limited partnerships, with the only difference that a private entrepreneur is the only participant. Data on a private entrepreneur must be entered in the State Register. The private entrepreneur contributes funds to the authorized capital for the purpose of conducting trade. The liability of a private entrepreneur is limited by the amount of funds contributed.
