Legislation in Sweden

The opening of non-resident companies in the territory of Sweden is subject to offshore legislation:

  • The Companies Act (Aktiebolagslagen);
  • 1992 Act on Branches of Foreign Companies (Lag om utlandska filialer);
  • Book-keeping Act (Bokforingslagen).

At the same time, any activity permitted by the laws of the state and generally accepted norms of morality is welcomed on the territory of the state. Opening of the company lasts only 14 days from the moment of submission of documents.
